This is a One Year (FULLTIME) course in Fire and Safety Field which is affiliated by STATE BOARD of Technical Education and Training, Govt. Of A.P, Vijayawada. (Approved By INSPECTOR OF FACTORIES)
As per Factories Act 1948 Sec.40B and AP Factories rules, 1950 Sec.611A, Any manufacturing process / Industries dealing with a hazardous process shall employ one or more safety officers based on their company size. The Industrial safety course offered by NIFS, A division of SSBIHS is recognised statutory qualification for appointment of safety officers as per the Factories Act 1948. The Certificate is issued by the STATE BOARD of Technical Education and Training, Govt. Of A.P, Vijayawada.
Minimum Qualification to take admission in this course is A recognized Degree in Physics or Chemistry with One year experience / A recognized Diploma in any branch of engineering or technology with two years of experience / A recognized Degree in any branch of engineering or technology.
